It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of fellow cruiser Lester Bouchard, 65, of Oakville. Les passed away Monday, January 28, surrounded by his loving family. An avid Yankees fan, his hobbies also included his light yellow 1951 Mercury and participating in many local car cruises. His greatest joy came while adapting a 2006 “Power Wheels” Mustang for his disabled grandson. Besides his wife, Debra, he leaves a son and daughter, one brother, four sisters, and two grandsons.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service at 10am Friday at Chase Parkway Memorial Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will be in the New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Bouchard’s memory to the light of his life at Webster Bank to the Thomas J. MacLean Jr. Supplemental Needs Trust Account.
