WOLCOTT — Mr. Manuel “Manny” Frois, 50, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, at Waterbury Hospital.Born in Portugal on Oct. 15, 1959, Manny came to Waterbury with his family in 1972 and had lived in Wolcott since 1984. He worked in the mortgage department of Webster Bank for many years. He loved to spend time with his family and his 1969 black Chevy Chevelle SS.
He was loved and cherished by his two sons and will be deeply missed by his entire family.
Manny is survived by his parents, Mario and Maria (Alves) Frois of Waterbury; his sons, Christopher and Matthew Frois, both of Wolcott; a brother, Jacinto and his wife, Susan Frois, of Waterbury; five sisters, Maria Helena and her husband, Antonio Moreira, and Lucinda Prigionieri, all of Wolcott, Linda Sousa of New Jersey, Donzilia and her husband, Vasco Augusto, of Newington, Ilda and her husband, Kenneth Bissonnette, of Bristol; a niece and several nephews and cousins.
Funeral will be Saturday at 9:45 a.m. from DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Road, Wolcott to Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury for a Mass at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
