Congratulations to some fellow cruisers that received Waterbury Beautification Awards on Wednesday, October 17.
Anna Carlson and her sister Felicia LaRosa, owner of Felicia’s Beauty Salon on Edgewood Avenue in Waterbury, received a beautification award from Bonnie Orintas, chairperson of the Waterbury Litter Control & Beautification Commission, during the 18th annual Litter Control and Beautification Commission’s award dinner at The Hills Restaurant in Waterbury on Wednesday.
Also congratulations to Tom Ulinksas on receiving an award for his constant effort to remove litter and clean up garbage in his neighborhood. He also made sure that Freight Street was clean after the car cruise in August.
