BEACON FALLS — Mr. James R. Wisneski, 54, passed away late Friday afternoon, July 26, 2013, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was formerly married to Heather (Millspaugh) Wisneski.
Jim was born in Waterbury Feb. 17, 1959, a son of the late Thomas A. and Dorothy (Stawski) Wisneski, and had been a Beacon Falls resident all of his life. He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. He had been the proprietor of J&A Motors for many years, rebuilding and restoring cars. His hobbies included racing cars and snowmobiling.
Besides his former wife, Heather, he leaves a son, James Andrew Wisneski, both of Beacon Falls; a brother, Thomas S. Wisneski of Seymour; and his former, mother-in-law, Susan Millspaugh of Jackman, Maine. He also leaves his dog and “best friend,” Coco. Jim will be missed by all his close friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck with the Rev. Leonard Kvedas, pastor of St. Michael’s R.C. Church in Beacon Falls, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral on Saturday from noon until the time of service.
