Mrs. Jeanne (Desjardins) Labonte, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Labonte.
Jeanne was born on May 7, 1925 in Fort Kent, ME daughter of the late Vincent and Elodie (Michaud) Desjardins. She worked for New Opportunities Inc., Meals on Wheels and Chore Programs. She was a devout parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church and loved working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Rena Jannetty and her husband, Richard of Waterbury, Linda LoRusso and her husband, Bart of Waterbury, Joel Labonte and his wife, Paula of Watertown, Joann Basile of Plymouth, CT, Maurice Labonte and his wife, Louise of Waterbury, Ricky Labonte and his wife, Lisa of Thomaston, her grandchildren, Lisa Coppola, Mark Jannetty, Aimee O’Boyle, Kari Rehbein, Derek Basile, Keith Basile, Brandon, Kevin, Kristopher, Jason and Michael Labonte, Amanda Lozeau and Meghan Thrift, fourteen great grandchildren, including five sets of twins and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Labonte and many brothers and sisters.
Arrangements: The funeral will be held at 8:00 am from the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to Blessed Sacrament Church for a Mass at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the funeral home.
