MERIDEN – Robert F. Halten, 70, of Meriden, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn “Lyn” Halten; father of Jessica Halten; and brother of Richard Halten.
He was born in New York, Aug. 16, 1944, a son of the late Steen and Ruth Hoffman Halten. Bob loved muscle cars and belonged to local car clubs. He was proud of his 1965 GTO hardtop. He was an avid fly fisherman and a member of the Wallingford Rod and Gun Club.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. on Friday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
