WATERTOWN — Mr. Andrew J. Mailhot, 81, died Monday morning, Dec. 29, 2014, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Isabelle (Pedroncelli) Mailhot.
Andrew was born Feb. 19, 1933, in Waterbury, son of the late Welly and Flore (Lafreniere) Mailhot. A lifelong resident of Watertown, he had attended local schools and was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical High School, class of 1951. He had served honorably in the United States Navy and was employed for 28 years at Anchor Fasteners in Waterbury, working as a tool maker and manufacturing engineer.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two sons, Phillip M. Mailhot and his wife, Colleen, of Watertown, and Mark M. Mailhot and his wife, Kime, of Watertown; two daughters, Robin A. Lamy of Watertown, and Tracy A. Mailhot of Torrington; two brothers, Reale Mailhot and Rich Mailhot, both of Watertown; five sisters, Irene Lampron of Watertown, Lorraine Cable of Southbury, Mary Ann Zigadto of Watertown, Janice McKeown of Prospect, and Linda Mangini of Watertown; seven grandchildren, Jesse, Kerry, Jamie, Andrew, Adam, Brett and Tyler; five great-grandchildren, Christina, Nino John, Molly, Clara and Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Teresa DeCarufel; brothers Raymond Mailhot and Paul Mailhot, and his son-in-law, Marcel Lamy.

Arrangements: Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at the Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., Watertown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Watertown. Burial with full military honors will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
