WATERBURY — Mr. Jason M. Corbit, 39, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2015, at home after a brief illness.
Jason was born Aug. 24, 1975, in Waterbury, the son of Sylvia (Maddox) Corbit and the late James M. Corbit. He was a graduate of Waterbury Adult Education and worked as a truck driver for several area trucking companies as a cross country hauler, and most recently worked for Forestville Machine Company. He was a fan of the Atlanta Braves, enjoyed music and was a classic car enthusiast.
Besides his mother, Sylvia, Jason is survived by his aunt, Evelyn Majauskas and her husband, Richard; his cousin, Cathy Majauskas Graham; his girlfriend, Denise Snay; as well as several other friends and extended family members.
Funeral services for Mr. Corbit will be held privately at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Eastside Memorial, “A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center,” Waterbury, has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
