Anna Paulikonis (Kachergis) Kasidas, Waterbury, 104 years of age, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2016, at Abbott Terrace Health Care, in Waterbury; she was the wife of the late Raymond C. Kasidas.
She was born in Waterbury, January 18, 1912, the daughter of the late, Jonus and Marcella (Paulikonis) Kasidas, and she lived to be 104 years old.
Anna attended Saint Joseph’s grammar school, where she was called, Anna paul by her teachers, she also graduated Wilby High School. Anna was a waitress at the Elton Hotel and other catering services in the area. She was the Cafeteria Manager at the Waterbury branch of the University of Connecticut for many years. Anna was a devoted catholic and a parishioner of Saint Joseph’s parish.
She is survived by her two sons, Raymond J. Kasidas, James P. Kasidas and his wife Catherine all of Watertown, she also leaves four grandchildren, Raymond Jr. And his wife Vicky of Middlebury, Kristen Ariola and her husband Thomas of Middlebury, Karrie Kasidas of Oakville, and Christopher Kasidas of Watertown, and three great-grandchildren, Dillan, Kaitlin and Preston.
Anna was predeceased by her daughter in-law, Marlene Kasidas.
