WATERBURY — Mike DiPietro, 69, of Waterbury, CT, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016, after a long illness.
Mike was born in Norwalk, CT, the son of the late John and Antonette (Marotto) DiPietro. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 38.
He was the president of Yankee Cruisers Car Club for 10 years. He loved going to car cruises and car shows. He was most recently a member of the Oil Can Boys Car Club.
In addition to his cherished wife, Adeline (“Addy”), of 43 years, he will be sadly missed by his family, Sarah Romano, Janette Walters, Gary DiPietro Sr. (Patricia) and Frances DiPietro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Lillian DeMaio, and a brother, John DiPietro Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 24, 2016, 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk, CT.
