TORRINGTON – Ronald W. Breen, 46 of Torrington, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2021, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Susan (Sakl) Breen.
Ronald was born on June 21, 1975, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the son of Gloria Seavey. He was a graduate of Newtown High School, then went on to working in the manufacturing industry as a machine mechanic for many years. Ronald loved to spend time with his family, especially watching his daughter’s school activities. Ronald was an avid fisherman and car enthusiast, especially for Mustangs. He enjoyed going to car shows and entering his classic Mustang, which was always a crowd favorite. Ron could fix and build anything, and he was constantly creating new things and projects. He was a dedicated dog lover, and he and his wife were proud to foster many rescues for Spotty Dog Rescue. He will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to cherish his memory besides his beloved wife, Susan are his daughter, Victoria Breen; his mother, Gloria Seavey; his stepchildren, Matt Bovat and Sara Bovat; his sister, Jennifer Bensey; his brother, William Breen; one nephew, Michael Ukers Jr.; and many cousins and extended family and friends. He leaves behind his three dogs Daisy, Liam, and Nugget.
Calling hours for Mr. Breen will held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the O’Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St, Oakville, CT.
