Traci Ann Ayotte, a beautiful women who’s life was taken way too soon, peacefully passed away on August 1, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She is now on her way to being reunited with her grandmother, Bernie Gualducci. Throughout her life, Traci was challenged with a continuum of medical issues. She faced them down “one after another” with her trademark smile. The latest challenge, a series of debilitating illnesses, finally and mercifully took her to Peace.
Traci, age 51, was born in Waterbury, CT on January 22, 1970 to Raymond and Charlene (McCormack) Ayotte of Wolcott. She lived in Wolcott all her life. She was a graduate of Wolcott High School and Stone Academy having earned her CNA Certificate. Traci just enjoyed helping people. Later, she worked at Stop & Shop on Reidville Drive in Waterbury for 15 years. In her earlier days Traci enjoyed traveling on the weekends with her parents and sister to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She also enjoyed spending her summer nights with her family at car cruises with all her friends. She loved all animals, especially her dog, CoCo. She also loved to bake. Her famous chocolate chip cookies that were so loved by many. Her little nieces always brought her much joy and laughter. She could be found at all hours of the day or night watching the Cooking Channel and anything CSI. Anyone who knew Traci will tell you that she was the most loving, caring and kind person they ever met. Our Traci will always be in our heart.
Besides her parents, Traci leaves her sister, Rhonda “Ronnie” Boscarino and her husband, Dr. Chris Boscarino, Traci’s favorite dentist, of Wolcott, aunt Theresa and uncle Red Cappella of Thomaston, uncle Remo and aunt Chien Gualducci of Deerfield Beach, FL and many cousins.
A special thanks to Joanna Hunter, Gloria Garcia, Patty Helmsley, Alan and Sue Garthwait, Sharon Trainer, Adam Blanchard and Kelly Boscarino for their friendship and support. Traci loved them all.
