CHESHIRE – Patricia Mary (Sullivan) Tremaglio, 60, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family by her side at her home in Cheshire, on April 23, 2022.
Pat leaves behind her adoring husband of 40 years, John Tremaglio; her beloved children, Jessica Feustel (Edward), John “Andy” Tremaglio (Sara), and Danielle Bouteiller (Ryan); her six grandchildren, Charlotte Bouteiller, Veronica Bouteiller, Bridget Bouteiller, Domenic Tremaglio, Xanth Feustel, and Nina Tremaglio.
Pat was born in Waterbury on Jan. 9, 1962, to the late John and Ellen (McGuire) Sullivan. The third of four children, she joins her predeceased sister Kathleen Sullivan Collins and is survived by her sister Mary Ellen Trautman (Lonnie), and brother John Sullivan (Tanya); and a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pat graduated from Kennedy High School, attended Naugatuck Valley Community College and received her master gardener certificate from UConn. She was an avid gardener; nothing brought her more satisfaction than spending the day in her garden or filling her loved one’s gardens with flowers.
Pat spent many years working for Michael’s Greenhouses and is recognized by many in the community at the South Southington Home Depot. Pat worked for the 99 Restaurant in Wallingford for almost two decades and loved serving her regulars, many of whom became more than just customers, but also close friends.
Pat was a lover of music and Broadway; she loved going to the theater with her family and her close friends, CJ, Susan and Kelley.
Pat’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. “Nana” went out of her way to make every experience an adventure they will remember for their lifetime. Pat had her way of making each of them feel special, always showering her loved ones with the perfect gift.
She cherished her large extended family and never missed an important event. Pat was a servant in life to all-her higher power, her family and friends, and her work. Her dedication to family and friends, generosity, and genuine love will always be honored by those blessed enough to know her.
Her smile was radiant and her laugh was infectious. Her ability to bring people together to enjoy life, laugh, and celebrate was incredible and will truly be missed.
The family would like to thank her sister Mary Ellen Trautman for caring for her sister every day while she was sick, as well as her care team at Hartford Hospital and the caretakers with the Hartford HealthCare Hospice Team.
Visitation for Pat will be on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 W. Main St. in Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or by planting a memorial in your personal garden in Pat’s honor.
