CHESHIRE – Ronald F. DePalma, 80, passed peacefully on Dec. 2, 2022, at the hospice unit of Apple Rehab in Plainville.
Ronald was born on July 21, 1942; he was the son of Vincenza (Santoro) and Charles DePalma. Ron enjoyed his family, home and classic car shows. He worked for the public works department in Cheshire.
Conversing with everyone was his favorite pastime, treasuring all to stay well and God bless. His wit, sarcasm and honest humor will be forever remembered by all who knew him.
Ron is survived by his brothers, James and William DePalma of Cheshire; his sister, Charlene Fiore of Cheshire; nieces Kimberly and Brandie Fiore of Thomaston; his brother Richard and his wife Claudia of Waterbury; nephew David DePalma of Waterbury; his niece Carolyn and her husband Michael Byrnes of Waterbury; grandnephews Charles and Anthony Buonauto of Waterbury; and grandnieces Kiara and Raeanna of Waterbury.
Memorial Mass on Thursday, Dec. 22, at noon at St. Bridget of Sweden Church in Cheshire, followed by a celebration of life at the Manor Inn in Southington.
