Helen (Perugini) Perillo, age 87, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Ralph L. Perillo.
Helen was born on November 12, 1935 in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Ferdinando and Lillian (Pizzo) Perugini. She worked as a CNA for many years and also worked for the City of Waterbury Board of Education in the kitchen at Tinker School where she loved daily interaction with the children. She cherished cooking Sunday dinners and spending time with her family. Helen often looked forward to going to car shows with her husband and logged countless miles together. She will be greatly missed by those blessed to know and love her.
Besides her husband of 64 years of Waterbury, Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Randy F. Perillo and his wife, Cindy of LaPlata, MD, Ralph Perillo and his wife, Meg of Bristol, CT, Kim Rudaitis and her husband, Rich of Southington, CT, six grandchildren, Rebecca and Wesley Donahue, Randy Perillo, Jr., Zachary, Emily and Gabrielle Perillo, eight great grandchildren, Brayden, Benjamin, Ricky, Maisie and Harper Donahue and Silas, Harper and Jacob Perillo as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rita Perugini and Joanne Manna.
Arrangements: A funeral service for Helen will be celebrated on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
