WATERBURY – Victor S. Juskevicius, 72, passed away peacefully April 14, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Frances (Salamone) Juskevicius.
Victor was born Oct. 18, 1950, in Waterbury, a son of the late Anastasia (Kazlauskas) Juskevicius. He was a graduate of Kennedy High School.
Vick had worked as a purchasing agent at the former J.E. Smith Lumber Co., and as a buyer at Sanford and Hawley in Avon for many years. He was a member of the Waterbury Elks Lodge No. 265 B.P.O.E. and an avid fisherman who enjoyed woodworking.
Vick was an avid classic car lover, currently enjoying his 1974 Chevrolet Corvette. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he was very proud of. He will be greatly missed by those blessed to know and love him.
Besides his loving wife of 33 years, of Waterbury, he leaves his son, Victor Juskevicius Jr. and his wife, Shelley, of Celebration, Fla.; a brother, Albert Juskevicius and his wife, Deborah, of Bristol; his grandchildren, Katie and Parker Juskevicius of Florida; a special cousin, Stanley Ruszczyk and his wife, Kathryn, of Ellington; his mother-in-law, Antonia Salamone of Waterbury; a sister-in-law, Rosa Prochaska and her husband, David, of New York; and a host of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Juskevicious.
Funeral 9 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, to Our Lady of Loretto Church to celebrate Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday morning from 8 to 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
