Vittoria “Tina” Dana, 85, of Prospect passed away peacefully while enfolded in the love of her family on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Tina was the widow of the late Frank R. Dana Jr.  Vittoria was born January 9, 1939 in Genoa, Italy, a daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor (Barone) Lorenzo.

Tina was a joy to all who knew her.  She would enter a room and make fast friends with everyone she met.  Family was the center of her life, caring for her husband and children brought her great joy. After retiring from Pratt and Whitney, she and Frank enjoyed traveling, the casino and many celebrations and occasions with family and friends.

Left to cherish her love and memory are her children: daughter Annamarie and her husband Joseph Anyzeski, son Michael Dana, and  daughter Eleanor Dana all of Prospect as well as her cherished grandchildren Michael Anyzeski and his love Tricia Rapuano of Prospect and Joseph Anyzeski Jr. and his love Rebecca Alicea of Cheshire and great grandchild Jezel Anyzeski.  She also leaves her sister Joann DiMartino of Italy and Rose Daddona of Watertown along with several nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.  Vittoria is predeceased by her husband Frank, and siblings Sarafino, Salvatore and Luigi Lorenzo and Maria Zucco.

Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 4pm  to 7pm at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Vittoria on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony’s Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect, CT 06712.  All are invited to gather at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:15 am until procession to church at 10 am.
