Anthony N. Delano, 71, of East Haven formerly of West Haven passed away on October 20, 2024 surrounded by his family at the Masonicare Health Center.
Anthony was born in New Haven on January 21, 1953 son of the late Nicholas and Delia Delano. Prior to his retirement, Anthony, in his younger years was a truck driver for Local 443 and then became the owner of Corvette Store and More of Cheshire. Anthony had a passion for all things cars.
Loving father of Gina (Michael) Hyne of Wallingford. Grandfather of Emilia Frances, McKenzie Rose and Logan Anthony Hyne. Brother of Anita (Frank) Latella of Wallingford, Nicholas C. Delano of East Haven and the late Lucille Markunas. Companion of Deborah DiChello of East Haven.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven THURSDAY morning at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John XXIII Parish at St. John Vianney Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd., West Haven at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
