WOLCOTT – Richard K. Schneider, 61, passed away Friday evening, March 17, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Paskowski) Schneider.
Richard was born April 26, 1961, in Waterbury, son of Christel (Stepputtis) (Schneider) Lilyerd of Blaine, Minn., and the late Ludwig Schneider. Richard worked in property management with Marlo Management in Derby for 34 years. He will be remembered as an antique car enthusiast and was a member of the Chevy Car Club.
In addition to his wife, and his mother, he is survived by his siblings, his twin brother, Fritz Schneider; his brother, Erich Schneider; his sister, Erika Jaskela; a brother, Christopher Lilyerd, all of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be noon Thursday, March 23, at Woodtick Memorial Funeral Home, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Friends may visit with Richard’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
